About the event
This workshop serves as a continuation of the examination of key diagnostic advancements and changes in the DSM-5-TR compared to its predecessor, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). Significant diagnostic updates in the Text Revision include the reintroduction of Mood Disorders, the inclusion of ICD-10 codes for Suicidal Behavior and Nonsuicidal Self-Injury, and the addition of Prolonged Grief Disorder, among others. These updates are accompanied by revisions or clarifications to numerous other disorders, along with a more comprehensive focus on issues of race, equity, and discrimination.
This course is approved for 3 hours of clinical continuing education units. This workshop is authorized by Flowers 2 Life LLC, as sanctioned by LABSWE.
